China Steel Construction Society (CSCS), established in June, 1984, is a national economic and technological organization with the status of legal entity. It is voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, scientists, entrepreneurs, engineering and technical experts in China's steel structure industry. CSCS consists of nearly 1800 group member units of design, research, manufacture, erection, steel production affiliated with more than ten ministries, commissions and head offices in the fields of metallurgy, construction, petroleum, chemical industry, machine, shipping, electric power, railways, transportation, aviation, etc.

CSCS has been appraised by the National Industrial Association and Chamber of Commerce of Civil Affairs Ministry as AAAAA level.
